RE&H maintains relations with the following centres of expertise:

Center for People & Buildings (CfPB)
The Center for People and Buildings is a centre of expertise that focuses on the relationship between people, work and working environment so as to promote research, product development and the transfer of knowledge in this area. The centre of expertise does so particularly for and with end users: businesses and institutions whose primary sphere of interest is not real estate. CfPB also promotes the multi-disciplinary collaboration between chairs of various universities among themselves and the professional practice insofar as the relationship between people, work and working environment is involved. The department of RE&H is a member of the board of the centre of expertise.

Centre for Process Innovation in building & construction (CPI)
The primary objective of the foundation Centre for Process Innovation in Building & Construction (CPI) is "to promote innovations in the entire construction chain in the area of construction processes by means of programme-driven and demand-driven scientific research and its practical implementation." CPI's underlying approach is an intensive high-quality knowledge interaction between the actual practice and science so as to arrive at a significant upgrading of knowledge and an optimal transfer of knowledge in the area of instruction process innovation, leading to sustainable innovations. The department of RE&H is a member of the board of the centre of expertise.
