Scientific Researcher
I am a full-time academic researcher working at the Chair of Spatial Planning and Strategy within the Department of Urbanism of the Faculty of Architecture at the Delft University of Technology. I defended my PhD thesis in 2004, on ICT-related urban developments. My current research interests vary from knowledge-based urban development in European cities, to urban transformations in developing countries. I teach Theory of Urbanism, I supervise students of the Masters Course of the Department of Urbanism, and I am co-promoter of PhD candidates of Prof. Vincent Nadin’s Chair.
