Wednesday the 27th of April it is time for the second Real Estate Career Day. This yearly event is the link between students and professionals within the real estate industry and provides them the opportunity to interact. Several leading companies offer business cases, workshops, presentations, a reading and there is a business market.
Wednesday the 27th of April it is time for the second Real Estate Career Day. This yearly event is the link between students and professionals within the real estate industry and provides them the opportunity to interact.
Several leading companies offer business cases, workshops, presentations, a reading, and there is a business market. The day will be finalised with a networking drink and for a selected few students there is the opportunities to dine with professionals. Because of the variation of studies within real estate, students and companies with different backgrounds will be present.
The Real Estate Career Day is being organised by the Building Organisation Student Society (BOSS). In her existence BOSS organises many activities to bind students with each other and give them the opportunity to get to know the professional life of real estate. BOSS has about 250 members from the study Real Estate & Housing of the Delft University of Technology.
This year the RECD has already broken two records with respect to previous years. 27 companies will be present of which two are businesses that have just been started by students from the Delft University of Technology. Compared to last years the amount of students has been doubled. The 300 students originate from all directions in the Netherlands. Students from Groningen, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Delft, Heerlen up to Eindhoven from different real estate studies will be present. An intensive morning program, orientating afternoon program and an informal evening program provide the opportunity for students to fully become acquainted with the companies that are present.
