Graduate School A+BE is one of the eight faculty graduate schools which operates under the umbrella of the TU Delft Graduate School. The TU Delft Graduate School provides general support for all PhD candidates at the TU Delft and sets a minimum set of rules and regulations, which applies to all faculty graduate schools. In addition, the Graduate School A+BE website shares what is specifically of relevance to our graduate school.

Attention! Architecture Library temporarily closed from 15 June

Due to renovation work, the faculty library will be closed from 15 June to 17 August. During this period it will not be possible to borrow books from or study in the library.

Compulsory coursebooks, the books needed for the lectures, examinations and re-sits, and the most used magazines and reference works will be available from the temporary location in 01 West 250; open Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00. Borrowed books can also be returned/ renewed here.

Graduate School for Architecture and the Built Environment 

One of the eight Graduate Schools at the TU Delft is The Graduate School for Architecture and the Built Environment [A+BE] where (international) PhD candidates graduate in architecture, building technology, urbanism, landscape architecture, geomatics, management of the built environment and housing, covering aspects such as history, cultural heritage, and sustainability.

The Faculty of Architecture has an international high reputation. With its international focus and students it is a stimulating environment for ambitious PhD candidates who wish to obtain a doctoral degree in a leading design academy/research institute. PhD candidates benefit from close interaction with world-class researchers and educators and are well supervisioned throughout their education. A full time PhD programme will normally take 4 years.
