PhD projects

How do different planning responses relate to the spatial form and performance of ‘territories-in-between’? What is the architectural status quo and the role of architecture at the railway sites in the northern Randstad (the megalopolis in the west of the Netherlands)? These are two of the questions PhD candidates are trying to answer at Graduate School A+BE.

During their 4-year programme, PhD candidates work on a project within one of our nine research programmes. The final product of the PhD research is a thesis, which preferably contains four or five scientific articles published in or accepted by peer-reviewed journals.
