| "Numbers, schedules, deadlines are the hard facts traditionally associated with managing a building project. But at RE&H, you are also triggered to think innovatively while handling the basics of management. I started my professional experience as an architect, but lacked the balance between creativity and practicalities of the construction industry. By the end of the first year of masters at RE&H, this gap was filled with an added knowledge of real estate & building economics. My drive has been to integrate technology in the design & management of buildings by reshaping the way project teams work together; thereby increasing the quality, productivity and accuracy for all the parties involved. This was also the research topic for my thesis which was successfully completed with an honorary mention. The research results and the final product have been appreciated and are considered of high relevance to practice. Taking a step forward in innovating the building process through integration of technology has given an exciting dimension to the field of design & construction management." |
